Nimish Parekh
Founder, President and CEO

Nimish is a serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the health and health insurance industry. Having launched the first Third Party Administrator (TPA) in India in 1996, he has since built several businesses related to health insurance including a benefits consulting organization. Having sold his businesses to UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) in 2006, Nimish decided to pursue health care in earnest by setting up India's first wellness and disease management enterprise, Cecilia Healthcare Services Pvt. Ltd. in 2007.

Nimish has also pursued social development by establishing Healing Fields Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on health insurance for the poor and health education for the masses, in 2001.

Besides serving on several Industry organizations and health care committees of Chambers of Commerce like the CII and FICCI, Nimish has worked closely with the Insurance Regulator of India (IRDA) on the development of health insurance regulation, data standards and health insurance for Senior Citizens.

Nimish is an avid blogger, social media enthusiast and amateur chef.
